April 13, 2017 Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at approx. 6:30 p.m., in the South Weber City Council Chambers, 1600 E. South Weber Dr., South Weber, Davis County, Utah, the following public hearings will be held before the Planning Commission:

(1) City Code Section Amendments in 11.02.020 Fees and 11.02.050 Application Expiration; changing the recording deadline for subdivision plats from 120 days to one year after Council approval, and 11.06 Impact Fees; changing the culinary water rates; and

(2) A preliminary/final subdivision application for Brimley Subdivision (2 lots) located at approx. 600 E. South Weber Dr. (Parcel 13-020-0056), approx. 0.85 acres; by applicant Grady Brimley.

March 9, 2017 Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at approx. 6:30 p.m., in the South Weber City Council Chambers, 1600 E. South Weber Dr., South Weber, Davis County, Utah, the following public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission:

(1) A preliminary/final subdivision application for Broadview Point (1 lot) located at approx. 7400 S. 1550 E. (Parcel 13-030-0084), approx. .57 acres; by applicants Rhett and Becca Reisbeck.

February 28, 2017 NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT AN IMPACT FEE FACILITIES PLAN AND AN IMPACT FEE WRITTEN ANALYSIS FOR CULINARY WATER

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that South Weber City intends to adopt an Impact Fee Facilities Plan and an Impact Fee Written Analysis for culinary water and will hold a Public Hearing at approx. 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, in the South Weber City Council Chambers located at 1600 E. South Weber Dr., South Weber, Utah. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive input and consider approval and adoption of the proposed Impact Fee Facilities Plan and Impact Fee Written Analysis. All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard; written concerns are welcome.  A copy of the associated information for the hearing is on file for review at the South Weber City Office. February 21, 2017 Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at approx. 5:00 p.m., in the South Weber City Council Chambers, 1600 E. South Weber Dr., South Weber, Davis County, Utah, the following public hearing will be held before the City Council:

(1) Solicitation for sale of South Weber City owned parcel 13-033- 0096, approx. 1.67 acres.

February 9, 2017 Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at approx. 6:30 p.m., in the South Weber City Council Chambers, 1600 E. South Weber Dr., South Weber, Davis County, Utah, the following public hearings will be held before the Planning Commission:

(1) a consideration by the City Council to close/dead-end the west side of 6650 S.;

(2) a rezone application for property located at approx. 475 E. 6600 S. (Parcel 13-023-0070 & 13-023-0182), approx. 13.173 acres, be rezoned from Agricultural Zone (A) and Residential Low Zone (R-L) to Residential Low Moderate Zone (R-LM) by applicant Bruce Nilson; and

(3) a preliminary subdivision application for Bambrough Property (24 lots) located at approx. 475 E. 6600 S. (Parcel 13-023-0070), approx. 12.98 acres; by applicant Bruce Nilson.

February 7, 2017 NOTICE OF INTENT TO PREPARE OR AMEND AN IMPACT FEE FACILITIES PLANS AND IMPACT FEE WRITTEN ANALYSIS

Pursuant to the requirements of Utah Code Ann. 11-36a-501 and 11-36a-503, notice is hereby given of South Weber City’s to contract to prepare or amend Impact Fee Facilities Plans and Impact Fee Written Analysis for culinary water, sewer, storm water, streets, parks and trails, fire, and public safety.  The geographical area where the proposed impact fee facilities will be located is the entire City limits.

June 1-7, 2017 Public notice is hereby given to inform residents of South Weber City that there will be a municipal general election on November 7, 2017 for the following offices:

1 Mayoral position (4-year term)

2 At-Large City Council positions (4-year term)

If a primary election is needed, it will be held on August 15, 2017.

The constitutional and statutory qualification requirements for municipal office are:

  1. The person is a registered voter in the municipality.
  2. The person will be at least 18 years old at the time of the next election.
  3. The person is a legal resident of the municipality for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
  4. The person has not been convicted of a felony.

Interested parties may declare their candidacy for an office in person between June 1 and June 7, 2017, at City Hall with the City Recorder located at 1600 E. South Weber Dr., Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

February 7, 2017 Public Notice is hereby given that there is a vacancy in the South Weber City Council and it will be filled on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the South Weber City Office located at 1600 E. South Weber Dr. in a special public meeting commencing at 5:00 p.m. Any interested persons who are a registered voter in and a resident of South Weber City, Davis County, Utah may apply for the interim appointed position (and who qualify under the provisions of State Code Sections 10-3-301 and 20A-9-203) for the term of January 2017 to January 2018. Candidates may fill out an application at City Hall to be submitted to the City Recorder until Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 12:00 p.m.
January 17, 2017 Public Notice is hereby given that the City Council will not hold a regular public meeting on Tuesday, January 17, 2017.
January 12, 2017 Public Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission will not hold a regular public meeting on Thursday, January 12, 2017.
January 10, 2017 Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at approx. 6:00 p.m., in the South Weber City Council Chambers, 1600 E. South Weber Dr., South Weber, Davis County, Utah, the following public hearing will be held before the City Council:

(1) Solicitation for sale of South Weber City owned parcels: 3.9 acres located at approx. 2071 E. South Weber Dr. (Parcel 13-033- 0077); and .58 acres located at approx. 2068 E. South Weber Dr. (Parcel 13-033- 0078).
