Public Notices

Public Notices are posted and published in accordance with Utah State Code and South Weber City Code.  Agenda and Minutes for public meetings and hearings held will be located on the City Council or Planning Commission pages. Please contact the City Recorder if further assistance is needed.

If you wish to make a public comment to the City Council during the meeting but are unable to attend, you may submit them through the Public Notice area on our website. Items distributed by the public will be referenced in the minutes and uploaded as Citizen Input. To be considered and included with the record of the meeting as “Citizen Input”, they must be received by 12:00 pm the day of the meeting. Comments received after the deadline will not be reviewed prior to the meeting and will not be part of the meeting record. In person comments are welcome and may be provided during the meeting as outlined on the agenda.

Notice of Public Hearing

Local Building Authority of South Weber City, Utah

Public Notice is hereby given that on July 25, 2023, the Governing Board (the “Governing Board”) of the Local Building Authority of South Weber City, Utah (the “Issuer”) will hold and conduct a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of lease revenue bonds (the “Bonds”) and the potential economic impact that the project for which the bonds pay all or part of the cost will have on the private sector, pursuant to Section 11-14-318 of the Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended.

Purpose for the Issuance of The Bonds

The Issuer intends to issue the Bonds for the purpose of (1) financing a portion of the costs of the acquisition, construction, and improvement a public works facility (the “Project”) and (2) paying the costs incurred in connection with the issuance and sale of the Bonds.

Maximum Principal Amount of the Bonds

The Issuer intends to issue the Bonds in an amount not to exceed $10,000,000.

The Taxes, if any, Proposed to be Pledged

The Issuer will not pledge any taxes of the Issuer for the payment of the Bonds.

Time, Place and Location of Public Hearing

The Issuer will hold and conduct a public hearing during a public meeting that is to begin at 6:00 p.m. on July 25, 2023.  The public hearing will be held at 1600 East South Weber Drive, in South Weber, Utah.  All members of the public are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing.  Prior to the public hearing, written comments may be submitted to the Issuer, to the attention of the City Recorder, 1600 East South Weber Drive, South Weber, Utah 84405.

I, City Recorder Lisa Smith, hereby give notice of the Municipal General Election that will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

Voters must be citizens of the United States; residents of the voting precinct in which they are voting; and 18 years old, or older by the General Election in order to participate.
